Great day at NI Schools C'Ships!

Six players from The Judo Academy attended the NI Schools Championships in the Foyle Arena on Sunday past.

A Gold for Marcus, our youngest competitor from St. Bernard's PS in Glengormley. 3 wins by ippon on his first outing. Big brother Adrian managed 2 wins, 2 losses, and a Bronze medal in a tough category, representing Belfast Royal Academy. Bragging rights for Marcus in that household!

Imogen claimed a Silver medal with 2 wins and 1 loss for Wallace High School. Daniel also claimed a Silver medal for St. Malachy's in a closely fought group. With a bit more experience and determination, not to mention hard work, and self belief, both should really achieve the Gold medal next time out.

Aodhan sealed another reason to brag with a Gold medal, one ahead of big brother Conall with a tough Silver medal. 2 medals for La Salle College Belfast. Keep it up lads.

The contests were very hard all round for everyone, but we still believe that consistency in attending classes and putting 100% effort in at each session will bring rewards!!!
